Young and Healthy
Young & Healthy provides free medical, dental, and mental health services with
private volunteer physicians, dentists and therapists to students who do not have
health insurance. Funds are available to pay for dental, vision, medication, and
other medical costs such as lab tests and X-rays when appropriate. Young &
Healthy is funded by foundations and private donations. Comprehensive services of
Young & Healthy are available to students in all Pasadena Unified School District
schools, homeless shelters, and designated day-care centers. Children are referred
by the school nurse, the Young & Healthy nurse, or the classroom teacher. Call (818)795-5166.
